All I Want for Christmas

Created in Corel Painter 8, this piece is my interpretation of another artist's work of the same title. His (who's name I cannot seem to find, and I am sorry) was created during the early stages of the computer art era, in black and white, and has a distinctively grainy feel to it. It portrays a young girl with a smile on her face, hugging a computer. My piece, created from scratch in a much more advanced program than the one available to him at the time, shows the same scene, but with some very different themes. The style of the girl herself is the same as his, but in color, and with a different expression. His work, which I assume to be comparable to a Christmas card cover, conveyed a "joy of christmas" message... mine is quite the opposite.
