it's beautiful! and the leaves are looking very leafy. i love you and am so proud of you.

(also, it's so strange seeing a painting of myself. especially such a pretty, unusual one. i love it.)

I'm glad you like it!

Yeah, I was thinking that while I painted it... like, most people aren't the subject of oil paintings in their lifetime... especially not one wherein they are being swallowed by leaves. hehehe

The novelty isn't as cool when it is of myself.

Thank you. Eh. I'm tired of the palimpsests. They are too unpredictable --which, in one way, is really interesting. But on the other hand, I just want to try "straight" portraits for a while.
